This is my personal favorite
photo with Ron. It was taken in early April, 1998. It always brings back such
fond memories for me. This was the first time I had seen Ron since seeing him in
Sunset Boulevard in May, 1997; the first time I had seen him since we had created the web
site; and the first time I saw him play The Phantom. Ron - do you remember "Thanks for driving... IN THE RAIN!!!"; wearing the Sunset Tour Jacket for me; and the crammed cab ride? I do. :-) E-mail Kristine at webmaster@ronbohmer.com |

I have been a fan of Ron's
since seeing him in the Sunset Boulevard tour. Never have I met a performer who is
so kind, caring, and appreciative towards his fans. This picture is a wonderful
memory for me. It was taken after the first time I saw him in Phantom. Ron, thanks for all you have done, I truly appreciate it. I will always have fondest memories. I hope to see you again soon in ANYTHING. I miss seeing you perform. E-mail Karri at mankind@midwest.net |

From Branden Silks:I had the wonderful opportunity to see Phantom for my
third time in November of '97 in Los Angeles. Little did I know I would be seeing the most
amazing person to ever play the Phantom. Ron's vocal and acting capabilities were
outstanding. He added new tones in his voice during the last scene that I have never
heard a performer deliver before. I was so mesmerized. I thought about the
performance for days. I finally decided to write him a letter letting him know what
I thought about his performance. About a month later a huge envelope came in the
mail from him. He gave me an autographed picture and a wonderful letter. He
said If I make it back to see the performance again, come say hello. Well, I didn't
hesitate a moment. I went back and saw Ron again in December and got the wonderful
opportunity to go backstage and meet him. What a truly remarkable person. He
was so kind to let me check out some of the costumes and hats and talk about his time
playing the Phantom. What an amazing person. It was great. He put a memory in
my mind that I will remember for the rest of my life.
The only thing I forgot was a camera to take a picture with him. (We were running late). E-mail Branden at Branden20@aol.com |

Ron
Bohmer is the most breathtaking performer I have every met. I am a big fan of the
theater and I absolutely love what Ron has done for the American musical. From
taking his audiences "back six months" in Sunset Boulevard and "past the
point of no return" in The Phantom Of The Opera, Ron can take anyone away form the
real world and into the excitement of the theater. E-mail Scot at HPD580@aol.com Scot is a |

I
first saw Ron perform as the Phantom of the Opera on March 4, 1998, in Providence,
RI. His performance was so moving and captivating that I became quite a fan of the
production. I saw the show again in Providence and I was hooked, bitten by the
"Bohmer bug" as we say! I felt compelled to follow the show to Chicago where I
finally had the priviledge of meeting Ron himself and had this photo taken. I was as
impressed by his kindness and generosity offstage as I was by his incredible voice
onstage, which is what makes him not only a gifted performer but also a unique and special
person. It was a day I'll never forget and I'll treasure the memories always.
Thank you Ron, for sharing your gift with us and for taking the time to make us all feel
special. It is a priviledge and an honor to know you - may God bless you in all you
do. With love and appreciation, Elise E-mail Elise at khedglen@MCI2000.com |

This
picture was taken at the stage door in Chicago after the performance. I was so
nervous about meeting him again. I stood in the back and when it was my turn to step
forward, Mr. Bohmer gave me a hug and said, "Stop shaking! I'm just a
person!" I was extremely embarrassed to say the least but, he made me feel like
an old friend. It was the best birthday present I've ever gotten and I think this
picture almost shows how happy I was. E-mail Elizabeth at Lizn2000@aol.com Elizabeth is a |

From

Llewellyn: Ron is single-handedly responsible for opening my heart and soul to the wonder, the passion and the joy of live musical theatre. Before I saw Ron as the Phantom and heard his wonderous voice, I just didn't get it. Well I DO NOW! After I saw Phantom the first time, I told everyone I knew and took everyone I could to see him perform. I have such great memories of each of those 9 performances. But the icing on the cake was discovering how warm and wonderful he was in person and that he even remembered my email. I am thrilled to be able to write this tribute to him. Since I don't have a picture I asked Kristine to use the CD cover shot, which is my favorite! Ron- What can I say to someone who has given me such a magnificent gift? Thank you just doesn't seem adequate, but THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. I am grateful for the PRIVILEGE of seeing you perform and am so glad that YOU were my first Phantom -) You ARE the angel of music! Less than 200 words, aren't you proud of me?E-mail Cyndee at cllewell@condor.depaul.edu |
