...a new breed of performer has arisen, and of that new breed, none in my experience
is more expert, more skilled, more instinctive or more revelatory than Ron Bohmer." - Trevor Nunn (from the everyman CD liner notes) |

One song...no...One CD... |
| Stunning
vocals! Ron Bohmer goes beyond his duties as a vocalist! One can feel every emotion in every word on this album. The talent you will find in Ron Bohmer on Everyman will keep you spellbound. It is apparent that Bohmer has a great understanding of music, and has much strength vocally, yet at the same time can soothe. His songwriting is well developed, and I hope to see more original work on the next album. Ron Bohmer inspires and entertains on Everyman! |
| An all around talent who deserves to be
known! Possessing one of the most lyrical, beautiful tenor voices around, the only thing better than listening to this CD is going to see Ron Bohmer perform live. His rock rendition of Gethsemane is stunning, both vocally and in the power of the raw emotion that he injects into the part... |
| Ron Bohmer paints a picture with his
voice!!!! I'd forgotten what a fabulous voice this man has. Besides the title cut, you can tell from "Sunset Blvd" that this man was created to play the role of Joe Gillis. His duet with Linda Balgord, who he not only was paired with in the tour of Sunset Blvd., but also in Aspects of Love, which this duet is from, is amazing. |
| A PHENOMENAL 10 STARS
PLUS Emotions are what make this artists voice so incredible. You can literally see the feelings, as if they were being performed before you. Ron's pop voice is of the most beautiful nature, especially when he sings his own work, "For Every Man," "Tell It To The Wind," and "When The Lights Go out." Each song is a refreshing, blissful composition, that only adds to his gorgeous voice. The Broadway show tunes are also sung with the best of care, quality, and the same outstanding ability of Ron's splendid talent and amazing range. A personal favorite is his duet with Linda Balgord in the song, "Seeing Is Believing." |
| A magnificent debut CD from a wonderfully talented
performer Mr. Bohmer has given memorable performances in several Andrew Lloyd Webber productions and his talent and experience shines brightly here. This debut CD contains what have to be the definitive versions of several of the theaters best songs from the past few years. With a voice that can convey every emotion with its power, range and subtlety, he makes these songs his own. No other artist can hold a candle to his versions of "Sunset Boulevard" and "Love Changes Everything". His interpretation of "Gethsemane" from Jesus Christ Superstar is equally impressive. It contains all the fire, passion, and "righteous anger" that should be expressed in that song...The three songs written by Mr. Bohmer are far beyond the standard fair you might expect on a debut recording. They are lyrically polished and interesting, very melodic, and wonderfully sung. "Tell it to the Wind" is especially lovely and a personal favorite. |
| An incredible voice,
talent This CD showcases perhaps the most amazing voice talent I have ever heard. Ron Bohmer has been astounding and delighting theater audiences throughout the country in his stellar performances of Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals and now his masterful voice is captured for all to hear in his debut CD, everyman. His astounding range, power, and ability to convey emotion through his voice are well displayed throughout the CD, especially on I Only Want To Say (Gethsamane), my personal favorite. Any fan of Broadway music or good old fashioned folk music will appreciate this CD |
