Caught in the Act -
We love the many mesmerizing hand gestures of Ron's Phantom!

"Night-time sharpens, heightens each sensation...
Darkness stirs and wakes imagination...
Silently the senses abandon their defenses..."

"Softly, deftly, music shall surround you...
Feel it, hear it, closing in around you...
Open up your mind, let your fantasies unwind,
In this darkness which you know you cannot fight - "

"Let the dream begin, let your darker side give in
to the power of the music that I write -
the power of the music of the night..."

Ron sings "For Every Man" on NBC in Minneapolis
July, 1998

For Every Man
For Every Heart
For Every Soul, A brand new Start...

Ron on NBC in Minneapolis On playing the Phantom...

"I think this role is the closest I'll ever come to knowing what someone like Michael Jordan feels like - what a sports figure experiences - when you give everything you have and you just blast right into it and give it ALL.  At the end, the appreciation from the audience is just overwhelming - it's a kick!

On what inspires Ron in writing his music...

"I'm learning to dig deep down inside and find the truth within myself and put that out.  I think what we identify with in popular music more than anything else is when someone just shares a truth that we can relate to.  That's what I'm searching for in my music."

Ron comments on the Phantom

For Every Child,
Woman and Girl,
You are the
Light
That will turn this world.

Ron on FOX in Chicago

FOX 30 in Chicago Interviews Ron

Summer, 1998

Ron's insights into the Phantom...

"The best part for me is the challenge of a great role, and the Phantom is one of the best because he's a man of many extremes.  He's a maniacal villain, and at the same time he's a sensual lover.  He is a caged animal and a child.  There are so many qualities to this man who is desperately in love with Christine Daae."

Ron's focus on the acting challenges in Phantom...

"With any of Andrew Lloyd Webber's roles, I try to put the singing aside for a while and see what we are trying to send people out with.  You can always spend a lot of money and drop a chandelier on people, but if you can break their hearts, then you've got something."**
